Our team is trained in Montessori pedagogy, Freirean critical pedagogy, anti-bias education and basic mindfulness practice. Mission
Eureka! Education Services strives to provide high-quality research-informed educational services grounded in the qualities of true presence, patience, and kindness. Our services are delivered virtually, and we focus on three critical areas of intervention: 1) Early Literacy and Math support using the AMI Montessori approach, 2) High-impact Tutoring for students K-12 (ELA, ESL, Math) and 3) Adult Education (ESL, TOEFL).
Our company works with the standards set by Stanford University’s National Student Support Accelerator Framework for High-Impact Tutoring. According to the National Student Support Accelerator, “Research shows that high-impact tutoring — tutoring delivered three or more times a week by consistent, trained tutors using quality materials and data to inform instruction — is one of the most effective academic interventions.” As we work with our students to grow in intellect and knowledge, we keep ourselves grounded in the basic practices of mindfulness and social-emotional learning, according to the frameworks developed by the Breathe for Change network.
